I cannot believe the time has come to leave after being here for 5 months. I leave with come incredible memories of land and people. I have love spending my time in two different locations one in a village and the other in a city teaching business skills. I have loved meeting locals learning about the culture and its many festivals but also I have loved learning the beautiful Nepali language.I leave with a heavy heart and look forward to coming back some time in the future.

Inside-Nepal has been assisting community schools in many ways since its inception. It aims to provide the volunteers immense opportunities to get involved in several activities at community schools and get first-hand experiences of working with the students and teachers. On Friday and Saturday (August 28th and 29th ), there was School Painting Program under Construction Project. Our volunteers Ann Wong (U.K), John Finefrock and Ian from Prescott College, Arizona, USA, accompanied by school teachers and some students, actively participated and painted three rooms of Nilganga School, located nearby Thamel. It was indeed a great fun to work collectively while exchanging skills and innovative ideas. The volunteers also distributed stationery items to the students.

Pokhara Coordinator , Mr. Krishna Dhakal

Krishna lives with his wife, and three young daughters and one son in the mid-town of Pokhara. His family, is an Inside-Nepal host family. Krishna is a government officer of Employment office in Pokhara His daughter are all educated and guide the volunteers. He also holds a Resource support position at the Pokhara income-generating Training Centre. Along with a good command of English, he is always very helpful with assisting the volunteers, both with their Nepali language and any situations that may arise. His daughter are guide to volunteers around Pokhara valley.

Diego volunteered through Inside-Nepal for three months from February to May 2008. He stayed with a family in Pokhara and taught English in the community-supported school. She is a graduate of Teaching English as a Foreign Language from University.

Ann Wong Joinded at Inside-Nepal for construction project. She painted two room and some wall of school. Other two volunteer Jone Finefrock and Ian from Prescott College are also partipated with Ann. She distributed some stationaty item and sweets to student. She visited our organic farm in village.

Now, I don't believe i've been in Nepal for 3 months. How time goes so rapidely that I don't feel ready to leave now since I've adjusted to the lifestyle and environment around me. I would just like say a huge thanks to Durga, Bishnu and Pramila for accepting me as a volunteer to their organization. It's a shame I didn't know about your organization earlier, otherwise I would have liked to participate in many more projects you have an offer for good cause. I have enjoyed participating Sankhu Palibari farm and painting at 'Nil Ganga' School. Many thanks, All my love, Ann

Thank you very much for organising my trip to Nepal. When I arrived at Kathmandu, I didn't know what to expect and how to go ahead but the generous service of Inside-Nepal made me feel easy. And, it has been an exciting experiences for me to volunteer at Kathmandu and Chitwan. The places I have been to are quite interesting, beautiful and lively. With the amazing hospitality of the local people I never felt that I am away from my home country. Language and cultural classes have been very fruitful to me to discover the richness and diversity of this country. It has been an wonderful experience and I am quite sure that I will come back again soon.

Village life is really good and i was made to feel part of my host family. It was nice to spend my time in green rice fields at Chitwan, away from the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu. Everyone in the village is very friendly and they are always asked to come over for Tea. My first day in the school was nearly confronting for me. I found the language barrier a real challenge in the classroom. But afterwards the whole experience was more rewarding than I could ever imagine. The staff of school were always smiling and we were always laughing when I left we had a small party.

I am quite fortunate to find Inside Nepal and volunteer in Nepal. I volunteered at organic farm in Chitwan for three months. It was the time of rice harvesting and I learned traditional farming techniques of Nepalese farmers. My host farm was located nearby the Chitwan National Park and I also enjoyed the International Elephant Race and Polo. Chitwan is the only place in the world to organize Elephant Polo. I am extremely grateful to Inside Nepal for providing me this amazing volunteering opportunity.
